How we work

When new clients apply, the first step is an initial consultation.

• Player Interview – We begin by speaking directly with the player about their experiences, goals, and career to date.
   
• Parent Interview – We then meet with the parent(s) to understand their perspective and objectives.
   
• Career Evaluation – We review the player’s hockey history, and if game footage is available, we conduct a video analysis to evaluate performance and potential.

• Candid Unbiased Assessment - We provide players and families with a clear, honest evaluation of where the player currently stands in their hockey career. Our detailed assessment identifies strengths, areas for improvement, and the specific steps that need to happen if the player wants to achieve their goals.

• Alignment Check – Finally, we ensure that the player’s and parents goals are aligned. If we believe we can help, we move forward together.
   

The consultation and analysis fee is $250 USD (non-refundable). If the player is accepted as a client, this fee is applied toward the annual mentorship fee.

Once accepted, clients receive a full year of mentorship and support designed to help them succeed on and off the ice.

Our mentorship program includes:

• Ongoing Player Guidance – Bi-weekly check-ins with players to monitor progress, set goals, and adjust development plans.
   
• Parent Communication – Monthly updates with parents to ensure alignment and understanding throughout the year.
   
• Game & Video Review – Evaluation of performance through game footage and statistical analysis where available.
   
• Program & Placement Support – Advice and guidance on choosing the right teams, programs, or leagues to best fit the player’s long-term goals.
   
• Network Access – Leverage our trusted network of coaches, managers, and skill instructors to create opportunities for development and advancement.
   
• Annual Advocacy – Ongoing support with team transitions, trades, and direct advocacy with coaches and organizations.
   

The annual mentorship fee is $5,000 USD, with the initial consultation fee credited toward this amount if the player is accepted as a client.
