Altitude Player Services provides mentorship and support for dedicated hockey players and their families. As active coaches and managers, we know how to spot underappreciated talent and identify the “diamond in the rough.”
Ray Tremblay is currently the Head Coach at Utah State University and brings a lifetime of hockey experience to Altitude Player Services. His journey has taken him through Junior, NCAA, Minor Pro, and European leagues as a player, and into coaching roles in the FPHL, VIJHL, USPHL, and NCDC.
This diverse background gives Ray a unique perspective: he understands not only what it takes to play at the next level, but also what coaches and managers are truly looking for.
“I was never the biggest or the fastest player growing up. I had to build a strong skill set and focus on details. By becoming reliable, I became valuable to my coaches.” — Ray Tremblay
Ray’s experience allows him to evaluate programs with a critical eye and to communicate with other coaches and managers in the language they understand. Over the years, he has built strong relationships across the hockey community and developed a trusted network of skill coaches and instructors. This network, combined with his coaching expertise, allows Altitude Player Services to provide players and families with mentorship, advocacy, and tailored support that is both credible and effective.
“We work a little differently than other advising agencies. This year, we’re only accepting a limited number of clients. We don’t take on every player who applies — we only move forward when the player, the parents, and Altitude are aligned in their goals, and we believe we can truly help.”
— Ray Tremblay, Founder
